Lavon Miller Sets New NHRDA Pro Street World Records
27 May 2017 Marysville, WA - Lavon Miller of Plain City, Ohio swept into the Oklahoma Diesel Nationals knowing that his Firepunk Diesel '06 Dodge had the chance at both the NHRDA Pro Street ET and MPH World Records. He and his team not only set new NHRDA Pro Street World Records but Miller ran an earth shaking 7.993 seconds at 174.75 mph in qualifying. Unfortunately he was not able to back up the 7.993 in the final round. But he was able to set the NHRDA Pro Street World Record at 8.121 seconds. His final round run was good enough to back up the 174.75 making it the new NHRDA Pro Street MPH World Record.
"I want to thank the entire Firepunk Team, D&J Precision Machine for providing a reliable engine, Exergy Performance for an incredible fuel system and Bosch ECU setup, Diesel Performance Converters, Aeromotive, Engineered Inc, Vibrant, Amsoil, Columbus Diesel, Woolf, TBM Brakes, Yukon, Turn14, Fluidampr and Associated Graphics for the wrap!" Lavon said after claiming both ends of the NHRDA Pro Street World Records.
